The Royal Hobart Show is returning for another run on 19-22 October, with lots on offer for animal lovers.
A wide range of animals are shown here, with a special focus on the competition and judging of farm animals.

Throughout the four day show there will be shows featuring alpacas, sheep, cows, cats, goats, rabbits, pigeons and canaries, and of course every show’s favourite, dogs.

For those less interested in competitions, check out the animal nursery. With all the baby animals you can imagine available for patting, it’s sure to be a hit with the kids. The nursery will even house seahorses and other aquarium dwellers, but you might want to think twice before going to pat one of those.
