Have you ever wanted to be a contestant on The Amazing Race, but would be too sad leaving your four-legged friend at home? If so, Paws Explores Urban Adventure sounds like it might be your cup of tea. Solve clues and visit checkpoints around Melbourne with your pet, as you join other pet lovers on a day of fun.

On Sunday 11 September, the city will become a game board as owners and their furry friends’ race and solve clues together. The event is open to people of all ages and is a great chance to get out and about, see the sights of Melbourne, and make new friends for both you and your pet.

The event is raising money for both the RSPCA and the Peter Mac Cancer Foundation. All participants will go home with a doggie bag of pet-care goodies, so everyone’s a winner.

The event is open to those without a pet too, as the event organisers recognise that every little bit counts for charity. If you do bring your pet along, make sure you bring a lead as they’ll need to remain on that.
