If your pooch is itching for a day at the beach, look no further than this year’s Dog Day by the Bay. Organisers hope it will be bigger and better than ever, with a wide range of activities on offer throughout the day.

Have your face painted to look like your dog’s, and then enter the kissing booth for some quick snaps, before heading down to the water for a dip.

Also in attendance will be the NSW Siberian express sled dog club, and they’ll even be putting on a demonstration.

Prizes will be awarded during a canine fancy dress parade, and “Doggy Dash races”.
