If cat showing is an interest of yours, check out this year’s High Country Cats championship cat show.

Organised and run by Australian National Cats Inc (ANCATS), this is an annual event held at the Rydal showgrounds in the Blue Mountains NSW.

Taking place as part of the popular Daffodils at Rydal Festival, the cat show will see members of all breeds compete to take home the prize.

This is likely to be a busy time in Rydal so book accommodation early if you’re planning to spend the weekend away.

Entries for cats have already closed, but you can still watch on as a member of the public and mingle with the breeders. Look out for early registration next year if you’re thinking about entering your feline friend.
