NSW kitten and cat numbers are on the rise and Animal Welfare League NSW (AWL) has been inundated with growing numbers of cats in shelters.
Cats are legally around to roam, so when they aren’t desexed they are able to mate easily. Although desexing is definitely a way to reduce over-breeding, it does not address the urgent problem animal shelters are facing right now – the need to increase awareness about our existing feline friends, and finding them new forever homes.
AWL NSW provides a safe environment where surrendered, neglected and abandoned animals can feel comfortable and nurtured, and do their best to match each pet with a suitable home.
Introducing the crazy cat lady starter kit – an all-in-one way to rescue cats and kittens and introduce both them their new forever homes.
The crazy cat lady starter kit costs just $50 and includes:
1 x cat or kitten
- Cat collar
- Cat toy
- Flea Treatment
- Crazy Cat Lady T-shirt
- AWL NSW 2016 Calendar
- AWL NSW Tote Bag
Cats are a great family pet! They’re known for being low maintenance and relaxing for their owners. They even have therapeutic benefits!
So whether it’s someone who’s never owned a cat before and wants to start off on the right foot, or someone who wants to add more to their brood and earn the ‘crazy cat lady’ status, then AWL NSW is the place to go!
100 Crazy cat lady starter kits are avaliable 1-31 July, however $50 cat and kitten price remains even if kits sell out.
AWL NSW operates three animal welfare shelters, a veterinary hospital, a behaviour team, a foster care network and 12 volunteer branches around NSW. They have a team of Inspectors on the ground protecting animals, providing emergency rescue and enforcing the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act.
